My Life with Flu is a five-part radio drama written by Sarah Woods. Sarah worked with Professor Paul Kellam, who leads the Virus Genomics team at the Sanger Institute. The drama follows Jill and David, whose relationship is just blossoming in 1969 as Hong Kong flu emerges. Each episode follows the love and life story as it develops over 50 years, while also tracking the history of the flu virus, how it traversed the globe and evolved over that period.
