Parasite by Deborah Robinson
Visit us after-hours to explore Deborah Robinson’s immersive video and sound installation, Parasite, in our new exhibition space, the Cultural Zone.Cambridge Science Festival 2016
After a residency at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Deborah Robinson created Parasite, a work that mimics the life cycle of the parasite that causes the tropical disease malaria, and how its ability to adapt has challenged scientists trying to combat its deadly effects. As part of the Cambridge Science Festival this is a chance for a relaxed, informal to visit the Cultural Zone after-hours to explore the Parasite installation and the permanent displays and stay for a drink in our nearby bar.
A limited number of places will be available on free shuttle buses from central Cambridge to the Wellcome Genome Campus in Hinxton. This is bookable upon registration.
