Become a STEM Ambassador

In partnership with the UK's official STEM Ambassador scheme

The STEM Ambassador scheme is the UK's nationwide network of enthusiasts sharing experiences of science with schools and the public. Coordinated by a Government-funded group of 19 hubs across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - the STEM Ambassador network helps match up the needs of community groups and schools with the experience of ambassadors willing to offer their time. We've teamed up with our local STEM Ambassador Hub - Connect EB - to offer induction and training sessions on campus and will help you the through the process of registration. Ambassadors are accredited for three years after joining, and have to undertake one engagement per year to retain membership. Any of our public engagement opportunities count towards your activity - from leading tour groups to participating at a science festival.

Join our growing team of STEM Ambassadors by booking a space in our next induction session.

Next induction session:-

Tuesday 21st November 10:30 - 13:00 in the Discovery Zone, Sulston Building. (Lunch included)
