Location: (click for map)

Wellcome Genome Campus, Hinxton, CB10 1SA

Date:

Wed 18th Apr, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Create prints inspired by the microbiome, the invisible world of the bacteria in and on us. Lindsay Pike and Tapoka Mkandawire from the Wellcome Sanger Institute will share their research into this exciting new field. Tutors from the Curwen Print Study Centre will then guide you through the linocut technique. You’ll cut and print an image into a 150x150mm square lino block, and use masking techniques to produce a range of varied and multi-coloured images from your one block. The workshop is suitable for all abilities.

Maximum 10 places.

Cost: £60, including all materials, lunch and refreshments.  Use the “Book Now” button above to email your booking enquiry to the team at the Curwen Print Study Centre.
